Students Programs
The RadarCon09 Organizing Committee particularly invites and welcomes student participation in the conference as a key step in facilitating each individual student’s development within the radar and user communities.
This annual radar conference draws a large number of professionals and exhibitors from across all aspects of the field. It provides students the opportunity not only to hear and see presentations of premier research and development, but also to interact with these professionals on a personal basis to ask specific questions, discuss personal interests, and address professional concerns.
To ensure a valuable experience, the conference includes a number of programs and enticements developed specifically for students:
- Student paper poster presentations in a dedicated student poster session and an award for the best student paper, continuing a tradition within this conference
- An innovative, exciting student mission design competition coupling radar engineering with user requirements, with grants awarded for student travel
- Networking opportunities with presenters, other delegates, well-known industry professionals, and exhibitors
- Discounted registration and tutorial fees to enhance affordability
See Student Poster Session for details on the session and for paper submission guidelines.
See Student Design Competition for mission design competition specifications and guidelines; see Travel Grants for student travel grants information and requirements.
